The Take Over

Hello Angels! I am not Angel, I am her daughter Kyla. This week I am doing a take over on my moms blog. At the end of last week I did a self care item haul. I placed my order on the target app and in this blog I will be giving my take on the items.

OGX Extra Creamy Coconut Miracle Oil Ultra Moisture Body Wash:

I have seen this body wash everywhere and wanted to see what the hype was about. After trying this I completely understand. I have the most sensitive skin and this did not break me out at all. This left my skin smooth and moisturized. I love the smell as well. While I was using this, it lathered up so nice and felt amazing. This might be my new fav body wash.

Tree Hut Tahitian Vanilla Bean Scrub:

When I use TreeHut scrubs I usually only use brown sugar or coffee scrub. This time I decided to try out tahitian vanilla bean and vitamin c. I have yet to try the vitamin c but I am ready to tell you all about the tahitian vanilla bean. I thought that this would smell a lot different than it did. For me I did not get the vanilla bean smell at all. The smell isn’t bad and I do like the scrub, it just doesn't live up to its name.

Dove Invisible Deodorant:

Personally I am very clumsy and I always get deodorant on my shirt when getting dressed. I love Dove anything so I really wanted to try this out. I was skeptical at first but it really does work while keeping me smelling fresh all day. This is def added to my must haves list.

St. Ives Shea and Oatmeal Body Lotion:

St. Ives is not a brand I usually use, however I really wanted to try this lotion. The upsides is that it has a smooth application. It is also pretty thick for a lotion and it did not burn my skin like some lotions do. The downside though is that this product has a lot of fragrance and did not hold any moisture in my skin. I would not recommend this if you’re not going to use a thicker body butter underneath it.

Honey Pot Sensitive Feminine Wash:

Honey Pot is a brand I have been repurchasing since I have first tried it. This wash is made by women for women. This wash is made of all natural ingredients and is not harsh at all. The creator is a black woman which is another reason I support this brand so heavily. My target always sells out as soon as they restock, so when I saw they had some in stock I immediately placed my order. There is nothing more to say other than I absolutely love this stuff.

Johnsons Baby Oil Original Mineral:

I saw people using this specific oil in the shower to shave. However I wanted to use this as an in shower moisturizer. I shave with the EOS brand shaving creams and a men's razor. Right before I got out of the shower I put this oil on my legs and arms and rubbed it in. I then rinsed one more time and got out of the shower. This oil left my skin so soft and held all the moisture in overnight. I would most def recommend adding this to your nightly shower routine.

Dove Sensitive Skin Unscented Beauty Bar Soap:

Like I said before Dove is one of my favs. Dove has a wide selection of bar soaps but I swear by this one. I get these soaps by the pack and I use it on my body and on my face. This soap is so gentle and removes any odor from the body. It lathers up so nicely and makes my skin so happy. I say please use this soap it is so amazing.

Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Shampoo and Conditioner:

I have been using this shampoo and condition for the longest time. I wash my hair with these two things before I make my mom straighten it. Yes I make her do it. I have too much hair! Back to the product though, It always helps to get my hair as straight as possible while getting it super clean. It never dries my hair out as well.

That is my opinion on everything that I purchased for my self care haul. I hope you all enjoyed my take over this week. With all the fun I had this week with the take over I will most definitely be doing one again. Like my mom I will leave you all with some final words.

Stay safe and be beautifully you! Until next week Angels,

Love Kyla 💕
