Hey Angels, welcome to Friday! I hope everyone is being safe and taking mental breaks with everything that is happening around us. Don’t forget about you. Many times we jump onto what’s new and popping. Well because there are many things that are being held up because of shipment issues, this week's review went something like that. I ordered bundles for an upcoming sewin weave. My appointment date came and my hair had not arrived.
I took a trip to the beauty supply store, whew they tried to sway me so many different ways. I was standing there like nah let me think. I saw pack hair I purchased back in the day. I was like well why not go with that. It’s offering everything I need. I was pressed for time. I was gonna purchase just natural bundles, but I didn't have the time to dye the bundles before the appointment. Given that I am picky about my hair, I wanted it done already.
This whole process took me about 3 hours at two different beauty supply stores. Then I stumbled on Moisture Remy Rain Indian Remy Wet & Wavy Long Deep 4pcs color 4/30. So yes I went back to MilkyWay. I forgot how good this hair feels. I used two packs so she sewed in the first pack because it is a one pack solution, but it felt too thin for my liking then she added two more bundles from the second package. It felt so nice straight in hand curls combed out. However because it was thin I added water right away to see if it would thicken up.
My install process
I’m not sure what braid technique she used. I do have a natural leave out. I did provide a net for her to use to create a barrier between my hair and the tracks, which put less stress on my hair. I’ve been going to this stylist for sew in on and off for 20 years. She's become a friend and she can slay a sew in. It will last you 3 months with proper maintenance.
