Crochets and Quarantine

In the hustle of everyday life we tend to neglect ourselves and take care of everyone around us. During this time I've decided to take a break on the wigs and take care of my hair. I never have time to do my own hair unless its something quick. Well, it feels great to slow down a little bit and treat my hair! I've created two different looks with crochet hair over the last month.

The one I just took out was the AFRI-NAPTURAL PRE-STRETCHED WATER FALL. I used a total of 5 packs, colors T1B/27 and T1B/30. I used the T1B/30 on the bottom and mixed the T1B/27 around my face to frame it.

Pros: Low-Maintenance, Great in the Water, the older it got, the better it looked. The colors were amazing, and you can definitely get 8 weeks out of it.

Cons; This brand is hard to find.

I barely took care of it and it still held up well. When I washed it once, it looked better to me. I only used mousse on it once, towards the end. Water went a long way with this hair. I was able to find this hair on Amazon. I love this brand, it definitely gives you the Beyoncé effect!

The pictures below in order show day 1 install, which were nine small braids until the crown, then I braided it in a circle, The last picture was week 4 after wash and I trimmed out the frizz. I will definitely keep this in my summer rotation.
